Please join me in the OC Marathon on Sunday, May 3rd to support children with disabilities, like my youngest daughter, Paige. Whether you run the 5K, Half Marathon or Full Marathon – your participation will support a great cause. For anyone who doesn’t want to participate in the race itself, there are plenty of opportunities to volunteer. This will be a fun event and the weather in May should be perfect. Join us at our finish line party at the Orange County Fairgrounds – we will have our UCP / Team SMILE 10x20 booth in the Charity Partner Village on the grass and there will be a live band to enjoy! I hope to see you on May 3rd.

Hi, my name is Bridget and I am 12 years old and in 6th grade. I am going to run in the 5K at the OC Marathon because I want to try to raise $100,000 to help other kids, like myself, with disabilities. I have cerebral palsy but I am going to try my best to run this 5K. I want to be able to do what most other kids my age can do and if I put my mind to it, I think I can do anything.
