Welcome to the Team Operation Homefront fundraising home page.
We are a group of runners training to participate in the 2013 Marine Corps Marathon or MCM10K as members of Team Operation Homefront. All of us on the Team are raising funds for the national organization Operation Homefront, whose mission is to provide emergency financial and other assistance to the families of our service members and Wounded Warriors.
We are completing this event in honor of all individuals who selflessly serve our country and the families they leave behind. These people are the real heroes on our Team, and we need your support to be able to provide them with the best assistance possible.
Since its inception, Operation Homefront has met more than 590,000 needs and is proud to earn the highest rating – four stars – from Charity Navigator, the nation’s top independent evaluator of nonprofit organizations. Nationally, $.94 of every dollar donated to Operation Homefront goes to programs.
