Suit up with the “Home Team” as Team McGraw partners with Elite Racing and the Phillies Charities for the first time ever at the Philadelphia Distance Run on September 21, 2008!

This year marks the thirty-first running of this historic race through the streets of Philadelphia, and Team McGraw is proud to participate in honor of Tug McGraw, the celebrated pitcher that cemented his heroic status with Philadelphians as we threw the winning pitch to win the 1980 World Series for the Philadelphia Phillies.

Money raised by Team McGraw will be used to support two outstanding charities: the Tug McGraw Foundation and their mission to raise awareness and fund research in the fight to improve the quality of life for patients with brain tumors and their caregivers; and Phillies Charities, Inc., the nonprofit element recognized as the heart of the Phillies organization.
