As you probably know, I have an immense love for running. I run for fun, fitness, to visit with friends and to clear my mind.
I am proud to be running the ING New York City Marathon as a member of Team McGraw for the Tug McGraw Foundation on November 4, 2012.
The Foundation seeks to improve the quality of life for children and adults affected by neurological conditions such as brain tumors, post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury.
I'm completing the 26.2 miles in honor of my mom, my aunt Linda, my friends Cecilia and John and all the other individuals that have been personally touched by one of these conditions. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure! Not only am I planning to meet my goal of raising $3000, I hope to surpass that goal! To excel with donations and fight for this awesome cause, I need generous people like you to help.
Please consider participating in one of my fundraisers to support my participation in the ING NYC Marathon as part of Team McGraw and help advance the foundation's mission. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress. Thank you so much for your support as I tie on my running shoes and take to the streets with Team McGraw on behalf of the Tug McGraw Foundation, and I appreciate your donation.
