As a member of the TMF board of directors and a coach/director of the Team McGraw endurance program, I am proud to represent my team in running the St. Jude Memphis Marathon 2010 for the Tug McGraw Foundation.
I run this marathon in partnership with Deputy Shawn Webb, a friend, brain tumor survivor, and inspiring example of the "Ya Gotta Believe" spirit we hope to share through Team McGraw and the Tug McGraw Foundation. Please visit my "Road Dog Runner" blog to read more about Shawn in "RUNNIN' FOR THE SHERIFF."
Since 2003, the Tug McGraw Foundation has worked to raise awareness and improve the quality of life for those patients and caregivers confronted with brain tumors; in 2009, we expanded our programs to include Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Trauma Brain Injury (TBI). As a part of Team McGraw, I am raising funds to support research toward these efforts.
Thank you so much for your support as I tie on my running shoes and take to the streets with Team McGraw on behalf of the Tug McGraw Foundation, and I appreciate your donation. |
