Goal

For the second year in a row, Team McGraw will partner with the New York Road Runners for the landmark event that is the ING New York City Marathon 2008!

Through the NYRR’s Charity Partner Initiative, Team McGraw was selected to enter our own team of runners – Team McGraw.  Each of our runners has chosen not only to train extensively in preparation to run the marathon, but has also elected to raise funds and awareness in support of the Tug McGraw Foundation and our fight to improve the quality of life for patients with brain tumors.

We thank each of our members of Team McGraw in advance for their hard work and training as a part of this team, and we offer all of our appreciation to those of you that have chosen to make a donation and support our runners and the Tug McGraw Foundation.

All guaranteed entries are filled for Team McGraw in New York City, but for those already running that would choose to run in support of Team McGraw, click here to find an application and join us for ING New York City Marathon 2008!

“The opportunity to support the mission of the Foundation, along with the chance to help my fellow runners reach their personal goals, is a great challenge and an honor.” - Kevin Leathers, team coach and runner

“Team McGraw pushed me through the whole way – physically, mentally and emotionally. The New York City Marathon is where my best finishing time was, and that was fantastic. But more importantly, I found 35 people who have it in them to do what I have been trying to do for the past 5 years: find meaning and find hope. .” - Jenny McDevitt, runner and brain tumor survivor, after finishing the ING New York City Marathon 2007.

“The work the Tug McGraw Foundation is doing to raise money for quality of life in brain tumor patients makes such a big difference in the lives of patients, and I would like to do what I can to help with the effort; thanks!” - Johanna Bischof, runner, after finishing the ING New York City Marathon 2007..
