My name is Jen McDevitt from Palatine, Illinois.

My goal with Team McGraw is to put a face to brain cancer.  I can do this, because I am a brain cancer survivor myself – and a fighter.  This will be my fourth marathon.  I have run my last three all on chemo and all with a spirit and a motivation to live.

I run for my son, Jack. I want him to always know that his Mommy did not fight this disease lying down; it messed with the wrong girl! I am also running for every brain tumor patient who says that they can’t, because I want them to know that they can!!! I have become a lean, mean brain tumor-fighting machine, and I am running this disease out of me the old fashioned way. 

I have a strong mind…and with a strong mind, I can do anything!  ____________________________________________________________
