Welcome Friends, Family & Neighbors!
I am gearing up to embark on an amazing, and seemingly suicidal, adventure.....and I'm asking you to spend money!
As most of you know I just completed my first half marathon in May and am now turning right around to train for the San Francisco 1/2 Marathon in July AND I've committed to raise money in the process for an excellent cause, Larkin Street Youth Services!
Larkin Street Youth Services is the only organization providing the full spectrum of services needed to help San Francisco’s most vulnerable youth move beyond life on the street. They offer a range of housing options – from emergency shelter to permanent supportive housing – in addition to essential wraparound services including education, technology and employment training; healthcare, including mental health, substance abuse and HIV services; and case management.
AND I live, literally, 2 blocks down the street from this amazing organization. It doesn't get more community involved than this!
