Hands on Bay Area and Marathon Matt are teaming up for this exciting running and fundraising program, launching on Tuesday, August 5, and culminating in the
San Jose Rock 'N Roll Half-Marathon on October 5, 2008.
Hands On Bay Area (HOBA) creates opportunities for people to volunteer, learn and lead in their communities. Every year, our volunteer projects provide more than 50,000 hours of free service to 300 nonprofits across the Bay Area. Our projects are designed to meet critical community needs including education and literacy, HIV/AIDS, health and aging, homelessness and the environment.
