I joined NYLI because I wanted to get more involved on a national level and hopefully international. I wanted to meet a group of people that were as dedicated to the bleeding disorder community as I am.
On the local level, I created a youth group fostering leadership and community building. I also started an awareness program on campus hoping to increase the visibility of women with bleeding disorders. I am currently a member of NHF’s Multicultural Task Force. |
