| Team Heal Trauma will run the 2007 Marine Corps Marathon and simultaneous Marine Corps Marathon 10k on Sunday, October 28, 2007 at 8 AM. Marathon runners are limited to a team of 50, but the 10k is unlimited (and 10k runners will be joined by Congressman Ted Poe!). The team also includes volunteers who will be making a difference by providing support before, during, and after the races.
Team Heal Trauma is a charity running team dedicated to drawing attention to the pervasiveness and impact of psychological trauma caused by violence, abuse, neglect, disaster, terrorism, and war. Join the team as a runner, volunteer, or sponsor to demonstrate your commitment to addressing this important public health issue. Our work together helps promote healing and wellness for survivors.
Team Heal Trauma events benefit Witness Justice, a national nonprofit organization providing support and advocacy for survivors of violence and trauma. Funds raised by Team Heal Trauma will be used specifically for education and advocacy around psychological trauma.
