Sun City, December 4th, 2009 St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church in the West Valley is raising funds to start a Young Life program at local high schools in and around Phoenix, Arizona. Our goal is to raise $50,000.

The 1st annual A Taste for Life wine tasting fundraiser held at the church on December 4th, 2009 begins at 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church is located at 10233 W. Peoria, AZ 85351.

A Taste for Life is a semi-formal event including a variety of wines some of which are from local growers in Arizona. Appetizers and finger foods will be served. The fundraiser also includes a silent auction.

Advanced tickets for purchase are available at St. Christopher's office or at www.active.com/donate/teamendurance4life. Ticket price the night of the event is $15.

St. Christopher’s in the West Valley would especially like to thank Speedy Pawn in Peoria for their generous donation of a two carat total weight diamond ring valued at over $1200. Raffle tickets can be purchased for three tickets for $5.00. The drawing for the ring will be held at the wine tasting event.
