Team Eisenberg is a group of runners who have committed to raising money for the Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation in its fight against gastrointestinal cancer research. These runners have embarked upon this personal challenge to honor all those who suffer from this devastating disease, and the friends, family and physicians who stand by them.
Gastrointestinal cancers claim the lives of over 100,000 people each year. Although they're among the most aggressive and deadliest cancers, they are often the least publicly discussed, resulting in fewer funds being directed toward gastrointestinal cancer studies.
The Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation is now one of the nation’s largest private organizations committed to gastrointestinal cancer research. Its programs are on the forefront of prevention and treatment strategies.
