| I've always felt that in many ways I've led a selfish life - i've been blessed with good health, supportive friends and family, and opportunity. I haven't, however, helped others enough in overcoming barriers that I've been lucky enough never to face. I want to change that. Please help me raise money for children stricken with cancer. I am running the Chicago Marathon in October for the Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation, a national organization whose mission is to eliminate pediatric cancer and to provide support to those affected. In my mind, if your donation helps save a child or even make that child happier for a day, this effort has served its cause.
