Well I haven't even began training yet and I just got an email about a man who was bit by a shark off of Solana Beach. It is kind of scary, but I will still participate in this triathlon.

I started training this week and I have to say, WOW!
I have not worked out like this since my freshman year in high school.......14 years ago!
I thought this was going to be a piece of cake, and I'm sure it will, but it is going to take a lot of hard work to get into shape!

So training is still kicking my butt, but I am starting to feel better about it. I am not as soar the next day and I feel like my endurance is starting to build. 9 weeks to go!!!!

Tuesday, May 27th, I will be at the Monarch School to cook for the kids and their families. It is going to be great to get to meet the kids.
I also want to give a special shout out and props to Christopher King (Cable)! Thanks for being the number one donor!!!

I just did my first 3 mile run today and I feel great! I did the run in 28 minutes and 50 seconds!!! I feel really good about the biking and running portions, so now I need to focus on my swimming!!! I did not get to go to the school yesterday because they could only have 15 people in the kitchen: ( I will shedule a tour for sometime next month.

Hello everyone. I have a few things to report on. First, we have a new top Donor!!! Thank you Sarah, Kaycee Dia, and little Levi!!! : ) I love you all very, very much!!!
So I have my first injury. Nothing serious, just a little ankle sprain from running down hill. It should be healed in a day or 2.
I am very excited because so many wonderful people have shown me their support and that has motivated me to TRI my hardest. I went into this thinking it would be a piece of cake, then I started training......that scared me a little. But now, it is starting to seem, well; not easy, but attainable : )

Hehehe.....so i have another injury. I was running and tripped on the sidewalk...lol
I banged my knee up pretty good but it is almost healed now. I am excited!!!! There are only 3 weekends left for me to train! I fell off a little last week but am back on track now. So far my biggest concern is the swimming portion. I swam 1/4 of a mile yesterday and it was tough. I will be swimming everyday from now until the event. Hope to see you there!
