I was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease in Fall of 2007. The CCFA has been a great source of information, and when I learned about Take Steps I knew I wanted to walk not only for myself, but for everyone out there that suffers from IBD-- to raise money for more research, more and better medicines and treatments, and most of all an eventual cure. Please help us reach these goals by donating even a small amount of money-- every dollar brings us one step closer.

Take Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis is the nation’s largest event dedicated to finding cures for digestive diseases. Not only am I participating in this event, but I am raising money for crucial research that wouldn’t even have been possible a few short years ago. More than 1.4 million patients across the country suffer from these painful and unpredictable diseases. Beyond raising money for research, Take Steps brings together the community in a fun and energetic atmosphere. Participants are encouraged to make noise and be heard -- raising awareness of these little-known diseases in their community and across the nation.
