CCFA Walk 2006 |
|
|
We are very excited to be doing the CCFA walk for a cure again in 2008. As most of you know, Jeff was diagnosed with Crohn's over 10 years ago and had major surgery to remove most of his colon in 2005. He struggled with two surgeries, a long hospital stay and a lengthy recovery - but today he's feeling great and with daily medication, the disease is now stable. Unfortunately, it never goes away. Each year we face the possibility of removing the rest of his colon, and dealing with the high risk of colon cancer that comes with the disease. But, it doesn't have to be this way forever. We are walking to raise money for a cure. Anything you can donate is so much appreciated and if you would like to walk - we would love to have you! Love, Jeff, Crystal & Kylie |

To donate please find the “Make a contribution” box on this page, if this box is not visible please select a fundraiser next to "View Team Fundraising Pages". Take Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis is the nation’s largest event dedicated to finding cures for digestive diseases. Not only am I participating in this event, but I am raising money for crucial research that wouldn’t even have been possible a few short years ago.
More than 1.4 million patients across the country suffer from these painful and unpredictable diseases. Beyond raising money for research, Take Steps brings together the community in a fun and energetic atmosphere. Participants are encouraged to make noise and be heard -- raising awareness of these little-known diseases in their community and across the nation.
Please support my efforts by making a tax-deductible contribution to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. With your help, we will fund important research and raise awareness of diseases that afflict millions of people. |
