The Take Flight Triathlon is back for 2009 with plans to make this year's race bigger, better and more memorable than last year! Thanks in large part to fundraisers like you, we were able to raise nearly $40,000 in 2008 to help provide comfort and non-medical care for families caring for a terminally-ill child, while also supporting research to cure Batten disease.
Please consider becoming a fundraiser for our 2009 event by clicking the "Become a Fundraiser" link in the blue bar above. Not only can you race for free if you raise more than $150, but you'll help take away many of the day-to-day distractions (such as making meals, housekeeping and yard care) for families in need, allowing them to focus on the care of their child.
As a small expression of our gratitude for your efforts, we're offering the following gifts for achieving various fund raising levels (all fundraisers will also be recognized at our pre-race dinner on October 3rd):
Raise $150 -- Race for free!
Raise $250 -- Free race AND your pre-race pasta dinner is on us!
