| The military has a large presence in Alaska and their Race participation has been memorable for all of us. Here is your opportunity to show your support for our Alaska based military by giving them the opportunity to participate in the Susitna 100.
Through the generosity of fellow racers and other interested parties, we were able to offer four applicants complimentary entry to the 2009 Susitna 100.
Despite serious injuries sustained while deployed in Iraq, Major Marc Hoffmeister completed the 2009 Susitna 100. Thank you to him, and all our military personnel for their service.
All unused Military Scholarship Fund money from the 2009 Race is held in the Fund and added to additional donations as they are received. We are already well on the way to 2010 Race scholarships.
