Thank you for taking the SuperStars fund-raising challenge! Partners Mentoring Youth is a non-profit organization for youth ages 8-17 in need of positive direction and support. Through one-to-one mentoring, as well as ongoing recreational, life-skill, and community service opportunities, we help give these youth a better chance to succeed in life. At Partners Mentoring Youth, we believe that all youth have the potential to realize their dreams, see their future as a world of opportunity, and develop a sense of responsibility to their community. Our youth mentoring program currently serves almost 300 at-risk youth in Larimer County. These youth will grow up to be our neighbors, co-workers and employees. They are our future and we are theirs! Every dollar you raise will help support these youth in a mentor relationships, plus give them opportunities to learn new skills and meet new people.

And it’s proven that the positive influence of role models can have a lasting impact. Program evaluation results show that after one year of being matched with a Senior Partner, Junior Partners:

• Show a significant increase in their future orientation;
• Are more committed to living a drug and alcohol-free life;
• Show greater attachment to their family, friends and other adults;
• Show an increase in self-esteem.
