| Please join Team St. Vincent's Hospital to improve the health and well-being of New Yorkers by running with us in the ING New York City Marathon on November 1, 2009. We invite you to help us raise funds for our full range of quality healthcare services to the millions of people who live, work and visit the Westside and Downtown everyday.
Millions move through our service area each year as the Hospital sits on one of the largest transportation networks in the world including: 4 major subway lines, Lincoln and Holland Tunnels, Port Authority (includes NJ Transit and L.I.R.R.), as well as Madison Square Garden and Times Square.
St. Vincent's Hospital Manhattan is the only Level I Trauma Center on the West Side and will handle over 60,000 visits to the ER this year alone.
St. Vincent’s has recently launched a significant renovation and expansion of our Emergency Department that will allow us to provide the highest level of care for the increasing number of ED visits; established the Eli and Abby Manning Birthing Center that will be housed in our refurbished labor and delivery unit and developed vital services for families of returning veterans in a collaboration between our Behavioral Health Trauma and Wellness Center and the national Wounded Warrior Project. |
