The Antosh family was smacked with a two-by-four eight years ago when Chrissy woke up with swollen eyelids and within a few weeks found her whole body swollen.
Many of you know this because you held our hands during the ordeal and the diagnosis – FSGS, a devastating kidney disease.
Doctors expected her kidneys to be gone by now but thanks to medicine and prayers and courage, she still has kidney function. But behind her smile are labs showing how protein loss is causing anemia, fatigue, sky-high cholesterol and edema (swelling),
We MUST find a cure for her and for thousands of others whose lives are shattered by this disease.
