| I have been nominated as a candidate for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man & Woman of the Year campaign. I am honored and know this is my turn to make a difference in the lives of people affected by leukemia, lymphoma and blood cancers throughout our community.
I ask that you join me by making a contribution to my fundraising campaign. Each dollar I raise counts as one vote and the candidate who gets the most donations is named our local Man or Woman of the Year. I am raising money in honor of a dear friend's grandson, Justin, who lost his battle with leukemia last year, and my neighbor Terri who underwent years of therapy and a bone marrow transplant to also lose her battle in 2006. I know you have people in your life too who are survivors of lymphoma or leukemia. The mission of LLS is to make these cancers a thing of the past and the research is very promising. The researchers themselves have set a goal: by 2015 to have these horrible cancers wiped out or drastically reduced and they are saying these goals are not out of reach.
I have listed contribution levels below; however, all donations are greatly appreciated. Your donation is tax deductible and will support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society programs, including research, patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services.
Many thanks for your support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society! Be sure to visit my Web site often to check on my progress and please ask your friends to support my efforts. Join me and help support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. |
