| The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is typically the primary event I actively seek contributions for each year. However, the recent loss of friend, Seth Palmer, to leukemia at the age of 39 has prompted me to participate and collect donations for this year's Spin4Survival benefiting the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Seth chronicled his battle with the disease over the course of the ~11 months between his diagnosis and passing on his blog: http://survivingleukemia.wordpress.com.
