Special Olympics Illinois empowers people with intellectual disabilities to realize their full potential. We have helped tens of thousands of individuals with intellectual disabilities find their voice and their strengths through the platform of sports training and competition. Our programs empower individuals with intellectual disabilities to become physically fit,self-sufficient and productive members of society.
"Be A Fan" of Special Olympics Illinois and join our team as we run for the over 22,000 athletes of Special Olympics Illinois.
All marathon runners will receive a technical running shirt, Power Breakfast, help setting up a fundraising page, professional training tips, and a Special Olympics certificate of appreciation! All runners will be entered into a drawing to receive special incentive prizes!
We ask that all marathon runners raise a minimum of $250 and all other race participants a minimum of $100.
