Father Lane Giving Circle at the South Boston Boys & Girls Club
Be Great !
The South Boston Boys & Girls Club transforms the lives of 1,300 disadvantaged kids a year. This is Year Four of a very special Father Lane Giving Circle. The 2008 St. Patrick's Day Road Race honored Father Jim Lane, a highly respected Club alumni and remarkable community servant. Father Lane, who passed away in 2007, was a pastor at St. Brendan's in Dorchester and St. Augustine's in South Boston. He was also chaplain for the Boston Police Department. We have created the Father Lane Giving Circle to honor this incredible servant. The Giving Circle will benefit our Keystone Program, an award-winning teen leadership program that Father Lane deeply believed in and supported in many ways. Keystone also sponsors the Road Race and puts in countless volunteer hours organizing and working the race. Our goal is to support Keystone program’s conference and travel costs. Supporters can make a one-time donation, or make a multi-year pledge. Thanks for supporting our proven programs and this very real cause. Good Luck and please Be well!
