| SWSRA is a 501c3 non-profit agency that provides recreation for children and adults with special needs in nine member communities: Alsip, Blue Island, Justice, Merrionette Park, Midlothian, Palos Heights, Posen, Summit and Worth. Since 1981, SWSRA has provided a wide range of programs, events and trips. With every planning stage, we make sure that our clients are our number one priority. With this said, we try to provide high quality services that our participants can afford.
But, as you are well aware, the economy is tough right now and many of our clients cannot afford to attend the programs due to financial hardship. We have developed a scholarship fund to award scholarships to those who otherwise cannot afford to participate.
We are asking for your assistance to help us replenish our scholarship fund. ALL donations received are restricted to the scholarship fund use only. Nothing is taken out for administrative costs, etc. It all goes to helping others participate in "life"!
