Running for hope

Hi, I have always been intrigued and challenged to run the NYC Marathon. Given this opportunity to run with Team Somarela on behalf of the AIDS crisis in Botswana, I am challenged, not only to run, but to significantly impact the lives of those in desperate need of aid. Botswana has one of the highest percentages of adults with HIV/AIDS in the world. Close to 40% of the population between the ages of 15 to 40 years old are infected. Somarela Fund bolsters and sustains humanitarian aid and social services in communities in northern Botswana by actively supporting local grassroots organizations that address the overwhelming AIDS crisis in the region. The Somarela Fund is a 501 (c3) registered charitable foundation registered with the IRS. All donations are tax deductible.
