I ask that you join me in raising funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I am raising funds for a variety of reasons: my father's brother was afflicted with leukemia, and died; a friend of mine here in Miami recently survived a battle with lymphoma. My friend's case would have been fatal if it weren't for recent advances in treatment--and that research is funded by organizations like the Leukemia & Lymphoma society.
