|In Dec. 2006 my mother died of lymphoma only a year after her diagnosis. I have dedicated my first solo album, "Songs She Loved" to her. I am giving all proceeds to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. They have made huge strides in the fight against cancer, but there is still so much more work to be done!
I have been nominated for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Man of the Year. This is truly an honor and my opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people affected by leukemia, lymphoma and blood cancers throughout our community.
I ask that you join me by making a contribution to my fundraising campaign. Each dollar I raise counts as one vote and the candidate who gets the most donations is named our local Man or Woman of the Year. I am raising money in honor of all those who currently suffer as my mother did. Together, we can make their battle with blood cancers a thing of the past.
I have listed contribution levels below; however, all donations are greatly appreciated. Your donation is tax deductible and will support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society programs, including research, patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services.
Many thanks for your support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society! Be sure to visit my Web site often to check on my progress and please ask your friends to support my efforts.
