On behalf of almost 1.5 million American children and adults diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis (UC) and Crohn’s Disease, we would like to ask you to support the advancement of medical research in search of a cure for these terrible diseases. In honor of our 9-year old son Jacob, who was diagnosed with severe UC this April, we have partnered with the CCFA to host the Inaugural ShootOut & Silent Auction for Crohn’s and Colitis to raise an amount exceeding $15,000.00 across all avenues.
We are writing to request your support for this event, which will take place at the Chapelgate Academy in Marriottsville, MD on Saturday, November 7, 2009 from 1:00-4:00 PM. This event enables everyone to be a part of something bigger than all of us – an opportunity to raise funds and provide new hope for those suffering from UC and Crohn’s Disease.
UC & Crohn’s Disease are painful, medically incurable illnesses that attack the digestive systems of adults and children. Without proper treatment, life altering surgeries can be required – we need your help. |
