Please join me as I prepare to race in The Grindstone 100 Mile Endurance Run (www.eco-xsports.com/grindstone.php) to raise awareness and funds for the Injured Marine Semper FI Fund. The Injured Marine Semper FI Fund (www.semperfifund.org) is a non profit organization that helps America's true heroes recovering from catastrophic injury. These Marines have made tremendous sacrifices for the freedoms that we all enjoy. Throughout the rest of 2008 I will be donating 100% of the funds raised to this noble cause. On the way to The Grindstone 100 I have run 10 ultramarathons and plan to run 2 more during the remainder of 2008. This donation page will be available through the end of 2008, your support, at any level, is greatly appreciated. The Grindstone is billed as the toughest 100 mile race on the east coast with 23,000 feet of elevation gain and loss. The race starts at 1800 on Friday, 3 October and offically finishes at 0800 on Sunday. You can follow my progress via a live webcast that will be located on the web address above.
