On March 19, 2006, Mel will line up with 25,000 runners,
walkers and wheelchair athletes to run the 26.2 mile course in the
Los Angeles Marathon.
Mel has pledged to run his part on behalf of
The Second Harvest Food
Bank of Orange County.
Each month, about 456,000 individuals in Orange county go without food.
The Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County is a non-profit organization
that has been instrumental for 22 years in providing help for our
neighbors in need—and Mel is asking you to help him support the over 200,000
individuals they serve each month.
Your help goes a long way.
Knowing you're there will give fuel for
Mel in
his challenge to complete the 26.2 mile course.
And, with The Second Harvest Food Bank's efficiency, a full 94.2
cents of every $1 you donate will go directly to the hungry of Orange
County. Mel and his
business
receive no portion of your donation.
Be an integral part of the solution by joining Mel and The Second
Harvest Food Bank of Orange County in the fight against hunger--because no
one should have to choose between paying rent or buying food!
