| Dear Friends:
My son, Sebastian Lemos, LIVED every day of his short seven years of life. Whether it was dribbling a ball down the soccer field or enduring painful medical procedures, Sebastian faced each challenge with bravery and determination. Though Sebastian lost his fight against cancer, his journey gave inspiration to everyone who knew him. Your participation in 2nd Annual Sebastian’s RunWalk for a Cure will not only honor Sebastian, but the funds raised will go directly to Children’s Hospital to help other children who are facing pediatric brain tumors.
Another important aspect of Sebastian’s life was to constantly give constantly to others. My husband, Henry, and I hope to continue his legacy by raising funds to further pediatric neuro-oncology research at Children’s Hospital. The excellent care that was given to Sebastian and to our family during his illness is given to each child and family seeking treatment at Children’s. We are fortunate to have this wonderful, caring community of Birmingham, and even more fortunate to have Children’s Hospital right here in our backyard.
We would like to invite students from your school to participate in the 2nd Annual Sebastian’s RunWalk for a Cure at Mt Laurel on April 24, 2010.
