| South Boulder Little League has a rich, 52-year history of providing players ages 5-15 with countless hours of memorable baseball experiences. As the successor to Thunderbird and Flatirons Little Leagues, SBLL has impacted the lives of thousands of children growing up in Boulder. The 2006 season saw 240 players on 22 teams play outstanding T-Ball, Rookie, Minor, Major, Junior and All Stars baseball.
The cost to provide SBLL is almost $40,000 annually. Nearly $18,000 is a fixed expense of five field rentals - Martin Park, Manwaring and three fields at Aurora 7 - the balance going to umpires, insurance, league fees, clinics, uniforms, t-shirts, hats, equipment, utilities and other expenses.
Our primary source of income has been registration fees, supplemented by volunteer fundraising efforts such as Silent Auction, Rockies Game, Snack Shack, etc. Despite our efforts, income has recently become insufficient to cover all costs, especially when factoring increased field costs in 2007 and a strong desire to make facilities improvement to enhance the baseball experience for our players.
SBLL needs the help of the Boulder community to succeed in our mission of not just sustaining SBLL, but constantly improving it, such as improved field conditions, covered dugouts for Middle and East A7 Fields, and improving the Tball and Rockie divisions.
We are asking for donations from Boulder merchants as well as individuals to meet our objective.
All donors will be recognized on the SBLL web site for their generous contributions. Please consider one of the following tax-deductible donation levels:

These donations will go to Special Facilities Improvement Projects, such as

Electronic scoreboard for A7 East Field. Merchant’s name remains on the sign for 3 years, A7 East field renames to “Merchant” Field
- Covered dugouts, A7 West and Middle. Merchant banner on dugouts, 3 years
- Other Special construction projects at Aurora 7
