| The Second Annual Danielle Roach "Save 7 Lives" 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, has partnered with LifeNet, and save7lives.org to encourage everyone to say “YES” to organ and tissue donation. One organ donor can save seven lives and enhance the lives of more than 50 people. Among Danielle’s many community contributions, Danielle became active in educating others about organ donation, including working as a volunteer for LifeNet. In December 1998 Danielle donated a kidney to her mother to save her mothers life. After losing Danielle in May 2004, being an organ donor allowed Danielle to give the gift of life and sight to countless others.
