Proceeds raised by our Akron Marathon Runners will assist local individuals and families who are battling cancer with day-to-day financial needs that tend to become difficult to cover during their treatment.
Recipients are of all ages and are battling any type of cancer. Examples of how the Foundation helps are: mortgage or rent payments, food or gas assistance, daycare costs, utility assistance, back-to-school supplies, sending children to summer horse camp, providing a holiday meal, and the list goes on and on.
