Run, Walk Wheel & Roll (RWWR) is a multi-national volunteer initiative designed to provide experiences that transcend the physical limitations of the body by pushing children with various physical and cognitive disabilities in their wheelchairs through Marathons, 1/2 Marathons, and other physical endeavors while simultaneously building awareness and raising money for the amazing programs and schools that support such kids. In its simplest form, by providing your arms and legs, you are the vehicle by which a child can participate in an event that they would otherwise not have ben able to participate in. Since it's inception in 2010, RWWR has provided 1st-time race experiences for over 70 children while raising over $100,000 for the aforementioned programs. Coinciding with the 2013 St. Jude Country Music Marathon and 1/2 Marathon, RWWR, The Harris-Hillman School and ABLE Youth will partner students with disabilities with a team of volunteer runners, walkers, and pushers. Together, each team will participate in and experience the 1/2 Marathon. RWWR consists of people making a difference. Join us and make a difference!
