| NACoA is the leading voice for the millions of children locked in the silence, fear and isolation imposed by the addiction that not only controls their families and their lives, but is so devastating to their healthy development.
Without education, intervention and support during these critical developmental years, children of addicted parents will be more likely to live lives of confusion, fear, loneliness, emotional abuse and neglect. We know it is possible to prevent or minimize the extent of these problems, saving families and lives.
