Running to Save Our School!

If you'd like to sponsor one of the educators or learners please find their fundraising page by using the search option at the top of the page. This will pull up their personal fundraising page where you can make a contribution. If you can't find their name because they haven't set up a page please make a donation below and be sure to enter the person's name so they get credit.

You may also mail any contribution directly to the school: San Carlos Charter Learning Center, 750 Dartmouth Ave, San Carlos, CA 94070. Your contribution is tax-deductible (Tax ID #90-0120643). Please make your check payable to SCCLCFA or the San Carlos Charter Learning Center Fundraising Association.

Our staff, families, and supporters are willing to run all of the way to Sacramento from San Carlos to raise money for our school and to bring attention to the state of funding for education for all schools in California.

This past year was unprecedented in terms of public school funding: this year, CLC saw a reduction of about $100,000 in one time costs that were outside of the control of the school. This amount is in addition to the mid-year reductions in funding as a result of the state budget crisis. Public schools in California will see additional cuts to public school funding into the 2009-10 academic year of an estimated 2.5%.
