Join My Crusade to Help Fight Liver Disease!

Love Your Liver. You Only Have One.

I have run the past 2 LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathons as part of the American Liver Foundation, Illinois Chapter's Run for Research Team.

I have also used many excuses for my lack of outstanding performance. I have never been able to run the Marathon in less than 4:30:00 due to weather, getting hit in the head with a pizza - causing injury, eating too much olive oil and consumming too much pasta.

This year will be different. I am setting a goal to complete the Marathon in at least 4:15:00.

If for some reason, I do not finish in at least 4:15:00, I will allow one of my living donor patients the opportunity to shave my head in public.

My goal is also to raise at least $1,500 to help fund liver disease research and create awareness about liver disease, liver health and organ donation.
