| The mission of Right Moves For Youth is to provide the motivation for its club members in grades 4-12 to succeed in school, improve their quality of life, and become responsible members of society.
Right Moves For Youth's mission is realized in the operation of school-based clubs and neighborhood-based community clubs lead by dedicated volunteers who work with our students in a group setting, providing them with the encouragement and resources they need to be successful, and rewarding them for their accomplishments.
Conceptualized in 1989 and incorporated in 1993, Right Moves For Youth collaborates with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, local law enforcement agencies, and other community partners to help our club members improve their school attendance, behavior and academic performance.
This year, through the efforts of over 300 committed volunteer club leaders working at over 50 school and community club sites, we expect to serve nearly 2,000 students.
