| The images on tv of the Gulf Region have been fading, but the need is not. We have been volunteering with AmeriCorps NCCC in Louisiana and Southern Mississippi for months and we can tell you that the people need our help. We are biking from Florence, OR to Bar Harbor, ME to raise funds to benefit Habitat for Humanity in Jackson, MS. The funds you donate will benefit the New Neighbor Fund, which helps displaced survivors of Hurricane Katrina who desire to return to the area. The proceeds will also assist Hancock County, MS because there is no local affiliate. In the course of over 5,000 miles we will travel as a team of 5 19-22 year olds raising awareness for a cause and people we care about. Your donation of any amount is much appreciated and tax deductible.
