| Brian Marcucci's Ride for Semper Fi |
|
| Last year, the inaugural “Ride for Semper Fi” raised more than $70,000 to support marine and navy personnel injured in Iraq and Afghanistan as they go through long hospital stays and rehabilitation to adapt to a new life at home after serving our country. This year, the goal is to raise more than $100,000. The Ride for Semper Fi team will bicycle more than 400 miles in 4 days, starting from Scottsdale, Arizona on October 14th and arriving at Balboa Park, in San Diego, California on October 17th.
The goals of the “Ride for Semper Fi” are simple: raise awareness, raise commitment, raise money and raise the spirits of these selfless servicemen and women. For all of us, it is a chance to show our thanks and support to these sons and daughters who have given so much for our country. Can we count on your help?
The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund provides financial assistance and quality of life solutions to Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) Marines and Sailors injured in combat, training, or with life threatening illnesses. Since 2004, the fund has made more than $30 million in grants to injured Marines, Sailors, and their families.
