| Your donation helps make it possible for Susan G. Komen for the Cure® to assist patients and families in Connecticut. Seventy-five percent of the funds raised stays locally for education programs about breast cancer and early detection, provides information and support to breast cancer survivors and their families, funds mammograms for women who are uninsured or underinsured, and funds transportation and treatment support for survivors. The remaining 25% of funds are disbursed to the Komen National Grant Program to continue funding groundbreaking research to find a cure.
