| Welcome to the Women's Health Conference page. For the past 7 years, the WHC has sponsored a one day retreat for women in the greater Red Lodge area to explore health issues, participate in healthful break-out sessions, enjoy a delicious lunch and socialize with friends and neighbors. The Conference occurs in August at the Yellowstone Bighorn Research Association camp on a mountain top in Red Lodge. Topics have included heart health, understanding cancer and stroke, foot health and advances in genetics. In 2009, the topic is Maintaining your Brain.
Funds raised support speakers and activity leaders and generally underwrite the cost of the program, since the entrance fee is minimal. Scholarship funds are also available through sponsorships and funds raised through the Fun Run. |
