| The Red Lodge Friends of the Library was organized to help preserve and strengthen the Red Lodge Carnegie Library and to create additional awareness and appreciation of library services. Donations in the past year have enabled us to help maintain the library's computers; to continue the children's outreach program; to purchase more new books and DVD's for adults, teens, and children; and to help keep the library's reference materials up to date and current. In this time of tightening governmental budgets, libraries are hard hit. Funds donated to the Friends of the Library are used to make purchases and improvements which are often beyond the city and county budgets. |
