Thank you for considering a donation to Carbon County Search and Rescue (CCSAR)! Our volunteers respond to dozens of calls each year. Ranging from lost hikers, hunters and ice climbers to injured skiers and backpackers, CCSAR personnel assembles within an hour to provide hasty teams, dog teams, snowmobile teams, body recovery assistance and first response/direction and coordination for HelpFlight out of Billings. CCSAR responds to dispatched calls in Carbon County as well as providing mutual aid to Park and Stillwater Counties. Responding in such varied terrain as Cooney Dam, Twin Lakes and Gardiner Headwall ski areas, National Forest, Wilderness and private land all across Carbon County, it is necessary that members are trained and equipped to handle and respond to many types of outdoor emergencies.
