Beartooth Nature Center
Native Wildlife Refuge
Thank you for your support!
The Beartooth Nature Center is a wildlife refuge and educational facility dedicated to the protection of Montana’s wildlife. The only public facility in Montana to house native animals that cannot be returned to the wild due to injury or human interference, we care for over 60 animals including wolves, mountain lions, black bears, bison, elk, pronghorn, lynx, bobcats, porcupines, eagles, hawks, owls, and more! The Beartooth Nature Center is also an educational facility for area youth. In the past year, over 1,400 students participated in the Connections Educational program with the Nature Center. These educational programs are free to local schools. Thank you for your generous donations. Your contributions help us feed and care for the animals as well as fund the educational mission of the Beartooth Nature Center.
