| BRTA is a non profit organization created to develop and maintain a non-motorized trail system along the foothills of the Beartooth Mountains. We provide a great place for winter activities at the Nordic Center and on Forest Service roads. Families can take part in ski clinics, children's programs, and moonlight skis on groomed trails for classic and skate skiing. Last season, BRTA developed a program offering ski packages to area children. BRTA is helping to implement a non-motorized trail plan in Red Lodge, improving it as a pedestrian friendly destination.
